In the peak Christmas shopping period our wide-eyed wonder opened the eyes of cinema-goers to the child-like joy of cinema-going as an ideal present that just keeps giving for both the brand and its customers.
So that now people don’t just feel more at Cineworld.
They give more too.
A fully integrated campaign which ran for two months as an in-cinema ad, supported by digital and print display, POS and cut-downs which were published across all of Cineworld’s social channels.
We worked with BAFTA winning animation studio, ‘Blue Zoo’ and hired the vocal talents of Radio 6 DJ, Cerys Matthews for the voice-over.
Over the campaign period, Cineworld experienced an 8% increase in footfall YOY. Box office sales increased by over 10% YOY. Retail sales increased by over 15%. And the decline in gift card sales was reversed.
